Ah Matt...
Last week in addition to saying "See ya later" to Mom-Mom and spending lots of time with extended family, life went on in the Wynne household. We had an 8th grade trip to Dorney Park, a 5th grade trip to the Philadelphia Zoo, Clinic - a spinal tap and chemo, Matt's formal, a Young Women's Camp Fundraiser at church, and Charlie had lots of work in the 90 degree sun (for which we are grateful). Still catching our breath. So when the breaths include a few laughs, I'm not complaining.
Matt's new obsession - taking out the kitchen trash. "Trash to the garage Mommy," he said before dinner yesterday at least four or five times. I repeatedly told him that we would wait until AFTER dinner to take the trash to the garage. What a relief when AFTER dinner came and he could remove the trash from the kitchen. Subject dismissed.
When we came home from taking the kids to their activities at church, he pointed to the clean white bag in the kitchen trash can and said to me...
"It's a beautiful trash Mommy. It's white trash."
Megan told him to be sure he didn't say that at school :).

P.S...We are so proud of Mallory - Lewis Middle School 8th Grade Musician of the Year!
